Eyelander requires an internet connection and a short registration process to play. To start the game, select the Play icon on the homepage and sign in to your account. You can use the Settings menu to change difficulty and sound options. The first time you play, a short tutorial will show you how to play the game. Hold your tablet / phone / computer at your usual comfortable viewing distance.
At the start of the game you will see the Eyelander at the landing stage on the map screen. The aim is to navigate through the 12 levels from the beach up to the volcano by finding different shapes to clear the obstacles along the way. Clicking the X button will quit the game and take you back to the homepage, but don’t worry your progress will be saved!
Remember that you need to play the game at least 10 times all the way through to get a significant improvement in everyday vision
A very small percentage of people may experience epileptic seizures or blackouts when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing lights when playing video games. This can happen even if they have no prior history of seizures or epilepsy. If you or a family member do have a history of seizures, we recommend you consult your doctor before playing Eyelander. If you (or your child) experience symptoms such as: disorientation, confusion, loss of awareness, altered visual perception, or any involuntary muscle twitching you should immediately stop playing and we recommend that you consult your doctor.
The size of your game window suggests you're playing on a mobile platform. Unfortunately this game isn't playable on devices with small screens.
Have you tried maximising the size of the window?
